Job Application Tracker

Hustler

Included with Hustler plan or Catalyst Plus subscription.

Track every job application in one place. Status updates, follow-up reminders, calendar view, and stats dashboard.

What Is This?

The Job Tracker is a simple, powerful tool to manage your job search. Add applications with company name, role, status, platform, salary, interview dates, and more. View them as a list or calendar. See stats on your application pipeline. And use the built-in Job Picker to generate follow-up emails with your tracked job details pre-filled.

How to Use

1

Open Job Tracker from the Catalyst menu

Click the Catalyst badge, then select 'Job Application Tracker'. Or go directly to /catalyst/tracker.

2

Add your first application

Click the 'Add Application' button at the bottom of the screen. Fill in the company name, job title, and status. Other fields are optional but recommended.

3

Track your pipeline

The stats bar at the top shows your totals by status. Use filters to narrow by status or platform, or search by company name. Click the calendar icon to see dates visually.

4

Generate follow-up emails

Open the Email Generator and use the Job Picker to select a tracked application. The company, role, and stage get pre-filled automatically.

What to Expect

  • Adding an application takes 30 seconds (required fields only)
  • Stats dashboard updates instantly
  • Calendar view shows interview dates and follow-ups at a glance
  • Email generation takes 10-15 seconds

Good to Know

  • This is an organizational tool, not an automated job application system. It helps you track, not apply.
  • Stats and response rates are for your personal awareness only. They don't influence your chances with any employer.

Tips & Common Mistakes

Tip 1

Add jobs to the tracker the moment you find them — even before applying. The 'Saved' status is for exactly this.

Tip 2

Update the status as you progress. Accurate data means better pipeline stats and timely follow-ups.

Tip 3

Use the Notes field to store anything the interviewer mentioned — names, follow-up timelines, specific topics discussed. You'll thank yourself later.

Tip 4

Set interview dates so they show up in the calendar view. This helps you prep in advance rather than scrambling last minute.
