What Is This?
The Resume Builder takes your Master Profile data and creates a polished, ATS-friendly resume. When you paste a job description, the AI rewrites your experience, skills, and summary to match exactly what that employer is looking for — using their keywords, their language, their priorities.
How to Use
Go to Resumes → New Resume
Open the Resumes app and click 'New Resume'. You'll start at Step 1: paste the job description.
Choose a template
Step 2: browse the 10 templates and pick one. Each shows a layout preview to help you decide.
Preview, then tailor with AI
Step 3: see your resume preview. If you pasted a JD, click 'Tailor with AI' — in 15-30 seconds your content gets rewritten to match the job. Each tailoring costs 1 AI credit.
Adjust freely — switching templates is free
After tailoring, you can go back and switch templates without paying again — the tailored content carries over to the new template's preview. On the Hustler plan (and above) you can also use 'Customize Sections' to choose exactly which sections appear.
Download your PDF before leaving
Review the final resume and download it as a PDF. Generated resumes are not stored — if you navigate away without downloading, the tailored version is gone.

Tips & Common Mistakes
Create a new resume for each job application. A generic resume gets generic results.
Don't cherry-pick parts of the JD — paste the whole thing. The AI picks up context from the full description.
Switching templates after tailoring costs nothing — the tailored content follows you. Try a few looks before downloading.
Always download the PDF before leaving the builder — generated resumes aren't stored anywhere.
If you run out of AI credits, you can still build resumes manually by skipping the job description step. No credits needed.
